IRRESOLUTE BELONGING is a psycho-geographical exploration of a consciousness that merges a Chinese and Canadian existence. Having adopted a western lifestyle as a child, I wrestle at times with concurrent and competing perspectives of the world. This kind of flip-flopping between viewpoints can be unsettling, and visualizing spaces symbolic of a composite Chinese Canadian culture is one way to embrace the enigmatic psyche that strangely identifies with both and neither ethnicity at the same time.
